Bennett imo wasnt worth more than a 3rd but it looks like Florida’s ready to go on a run.

It's not terrible, he's an RFA at the end of the season. Pay a little extra to have his rights for extension.

The Bennett price is a bit high (not sure on the prospect yet), but FLA has made some interesting moves without giving up all that much. They all seem to be underachieving this year though, so hopefully they can put it together with FLA.

Diving a little deeper into it, the vast majority of FLA's roster is under contract for next year. If they truly believe that this team can compete next year as well with the same players, pay the little extra for Bennett so you can have him for next years playoffs as well.

Boston loses Hall after this season, hence why it cost a little less.
