Chevy probably thinks little 160lbs Heinola will lead this team d core through the offseason I guess

I wish they would play heinola. He would easily be our best puck mover and 3rd best d-man. Also he’s like 180, which is a good weight for his size and age. However, they won’t play him because his elc can slide another year. Ughaaaaaaaa

Enstrom and heinola are very very different players. Heinola makes a career out of “making the smart play”. Enstrom made a career out of defending against the rush, specifically odd man rushes. Heinola is an offensive d-man who’s good in his own end. Enstrom was a defensive d-man who could move the puck in the offensive zone. And heinola is an elite skater, while enstrom was merely very good. I do think that heinola can succeed in the nhl with his current build, but I’d rather have had his elc slide. To be honest, it probably still slides and Maurice won’t play him

Hes too small of a player imo, if he was 200lbs it would be a different story

Imo there was no rd that moved the needle the first rd pick could be a steal considering wpg has one of the best scouting dept.
