Virtanen can be had for a mid round draft choice. There’s no reason to give up something useful to get him. I would still do it, but I wouldn’t give up a player unless it was Cody Eakin or Okposo.

if thats the case with Jake it would have happened in my opinion.Canucks would have no interest in a declining d man.not the same player he once was.in my opinion.

I’m a little surprised Vancouver has hung onto him, unless there was no interest from anyone. That’s why I’m thinking maybe he could be had for mid round pick. He is in desperate need of a fresh start, and Vancouver is probably just sick of dealing with his issues. Buffalo could be a place that he might see some ice time and an opportunity to prove himself again.

Jake would fit well on your team and he does need a change. He has a big up side when he finally get it together.I too am surprised hes still here but i think he may be part of a bigger deal to land another young top 4 d man to help take pressure off Quinn Hughes. Just a guess/hope.

Hmm that's probably an accurate view. I really hope his offensive upside continues to develop because with his skating he could really be a solid 2nd/3rd pair guy for us
