hes a good gm

sure he made that **** trade for a certain someone whose out for the season

but hey he got more than what he should have for Rielly

honestly surprised he didnt try to move Dzingel as u got to think someone in the North (besides Toronto due to to many forwards) had interest

he gets way too much crap imo, hes not the best GM but i dont think hes nearly as bad as some people think considering hes handcuffed by the owner. I can live with stepan for a second flaming out, not nearly as brutal as the Duchene trade (or mark stone but im still hopeful).
Im mostly just happy he actually took a flyer on mete and capitalized on reilly

i think he ends up played third pair next to JBD remainder of season, but thats a vast upgrade to Gudbransson-Coburn imo

Signing Galchenyuk lead to Balcers being put on waivers.

Trading a 2nd for Stepan meant there wasn't a roster spot for Chlapik.

Instead of bringing in Gudbranson and Coburn the Sens could've easily re-signed DeMelo and Borowiecki and been better off.

Can you imagine if the Sens had these D pairing from the start of the season?

Chabot - DeMelo
Reilly- Zub
Borowiecki - Zaitsev
Brannstrom

There have been good moves, like maximizing Reilly's value and the sneaky good trades for Watson and J. Brown to meet exposure requirements a year ahead of time, and signing Zub has been found money, but there is a lot I still have problems with.
