CBJ wouldn't do either of those players for Jensen.

If you retain 30% we might send Carlsson thougu.

Whats the point of keeping both if only 1 can get top 9 minutes

VAN decline, they like Motte and what he brings to the bottom 6 and PK.

Because both can keep developing in cleveland. I think one of them/Robinson could be traded but it won't be for an aging Dman with a negative value contract

He makes 2.5 million for 2 years? And both should be NHL regulars by now, saying something like that is what would drive them away, considering neither has played a second in the AHL all season

You're a smart guy. Your information is a year old, here. Jensen is tied for 19th among RHD in EVP with 12. Among RHD with 10GP this year he's 10th in points/60. He's playing PK1 minutes on a top 10 PK unit. If he were a UFA this summer he'd pull down 4M. Possibly 5. Last year, though, he totally played like a million dollars. smile

You can make the argument for stenlund but no way bemstrom should be a regular yet. Not every nhl player develops by the time they're 22

He looked ok in 19-20 in a really short sample size, when hes played this season hes only getting 11:44 a game, somehow less than last season

That's negative for the Jackets because the 2022 offseason is when we need to get new contracts to Jones, Werenski, Laine, either of the goaltenders we keep, and maybe some other folks. Taking on potentially troubled term would be a very very bad idea for us.

For the jackets sure it could prove troublesome, but he worded it as jensen being overpaid which is just the opposite of true
