Bruins would reject. A top teir RW is more valuable rn than a top tier C, and because Eichel wants out his value is lower.

A winger will never be worth more than a center. Pretty comparable to Dubois and Laine.

Teams would pay more for him because this year aside hes a consistent 25 goal scorer something craig smith isnt

I wouldn't do Pasta for Eichel one for one. You know what you have in Pasta and that he can play in the playoffs. Why trade that even if for Eichel? This team needs another top 6 winger and top 4 left defenseman.

This one. The fact that the 4th best RW (after Pasta, Kucherov, and Stone in no particular order) is worse than the 10th best center.... They are more valuable
    Thats just logic

That is a winger that is worth more than a center, which you just said never happens.

Another center that David pastrnak is worth more than is jack eichel. I agree that centers are generally worth more than wingers. However Pastrnak is way way way better than Reilly Nash. He’s also way way way better than jack eichel.

they have had pretty comparable careers really asside from 3-5 goals here or there. Not to mention recently Smith has been better (this season) which is a pretty big aspect of things once a player hits 30.

Wingers (depending on the case, but in most cases) are more valuable... thats a fact unfortunately. Not to mention eichel is being sold cuz he wants out (especially now)... And Pasta is a lock so his value goes up. Just basic math for yall

Yeah cuz Eichel-Hall worked so well last time they were united.

They did.. they dominated possession. It’s just Hall forgot how to score Jack was playing through broken ribs along with other injuries.

Teams arent worried about this season from palmieri otherwise he wouldntve gotten a 1st. As for their stat lines
    Palmieri- 598gp 184g 172a 356p
    Smith- 699gp 170g 182a 352p
So for the most part pretty similar lines except for the fact that palmieri did it in 100 less games.

Both are false statements. Top tier centers rarely come available and Eichel may want out but if he really does, his value is not lower.....he has a contract and he can be traded anywhere. If there was a no move clause that would be the case.....however, the salary of Eichel, now that’s a point worth making, not many teams have e assets.

However, I will say, no matter which player you think is better.....Boston would never trade Pasta for Eichel....the point of getting Eichel would be to have him play with Pasta.

    Kane??? Marner???
Mcdavid mackinnon matthews crosby draisaitl barkov eichel point petterson aho (couturier tavares zibanejad barzal) its only in a general order but there are a whole bunch of RWs who would make this list.
***please dont be that guy whos like aho over petterson bc that doesnt make a difference. Didnt really go thru the entire league so i may have forgotten someone.

Lmao, what? Im just stating facts, you havent refuted any of my facts.
Is Marner better than Eichel? No, and Eichel is a top 7 C, so the point is I would rather a top 3 RW than a top 10 Center, because I know the 11th Center is still gonna be really damn good.

Sorry guys, a fact is a fact.

And yeah bruins would never give Pasta for Eichel 1 for 1 so that should be clear (even as a non-bruins fan like myself)

Agreed the bruins wont make that trade but a center is still more valuable than a wing

Maybe, not the way hes been playing recently tho. I also meant equal in ranking (for example pasternaks a top 5 r
RW eichel isnt a top 5 C) then a center is more valuable than a wing even though theres a lot more good depth at C.
