Q. Hughes isn’t actually offer sheet eligible. He didn’t play enough games in his 1st nhl season to acrue a year for offer sheet purposes.

Pretty sure Hughes is one of those guys who can't sign an offer sheet. Don't remember what it's called

You can imagine my disappointment when I opened this and found out you had not added WWF wrestler Triple H to the New Jersey Devils.

I wouldn’t say clueless, honest mistake. Just having fun creating a roster.

Don't think we have a want or need for Merkley and Butcher so you could take them out. But the picks and Boqvist are very solid assets. Would be hard to not seriously consider.

That would make Quinn the third highest paid Dmen. I doubt if he worth of such love. Nice offensive totals, but not so good defensively.
Just for bang for the bang, spend 9.5m on UFA(s) and keep the picks.

Didn't I hear something about HBK winning a Cup for Pittsburgh a couple of years ago? Classic Shawn Michaels, big game player.

I'm really lost on the perception of Meier. I've seen people say hes a middle six winger not worth more than a B prospect and a 2nd round pick and other people say hes a legit top line stud worth a 1st very good prospect plus. I don't catch a lot of sharks games so wondering if you have any insight about why there are such differing opinions on him.

He's a bit inconsistent. He usually catches fire midway thru the year but he's a total gamer in the playoffs. He's a power forward with sick hands and a very strong wrist shot. A B prospect and a 2nd doesn't touch Timo. It will take a 1st and an A level prospect to get him but I doubt Wilson is selling him at the moment-the org is super high on Timo going forward. He's at his best when he's getting under the opposing teams skin, just ask Vegas after the 2018 playoffs.

He is genuinely talented and has showed what his capabilities were in 2018-19 playing on a good team. He's been inconsistent like Crankshaft mentioned, but I think his lack of scoring lately can be more attributed to the bad team and poor mindset, rather than lack of skill. He might not be quite the player some people make him out to be, but he's borderline elite in a lot of ways when he's on his game.
