A mid 1st for Dunn seems a tad high

a 2nd for Sanford is super high too

Blues fans and analytical people overrate Dunn like crazy

Hes like the most sheltered none rookie in the entire league

Who would you protect over Sunny (assuming the Schwartz deal isn’t done until after the ED)?

I think it comes down to Perron, it just doesn't feel like he will be left exposed again. Just a gut feeling, but its one or the other. My protection list....

As far as Dunn is concerned whether you think a first is too steep, I just urge you to consider multiple teams will want Dunn, it will start a bidding war and I think a first gets its done for one of those teams.

I think we’re not signing schwartz until after the draft so we don’t have to expose him.

I think we will get something done beforehand but if that is the case then I'd suspect they'd protect Sunny.

I see no reason whatsoever to sign Armia. I'd much rather go sign Lowry.






That is no longer close to true. His match-ups have changed a lot this season. Besides, his sheltering was a product of the Blues strength on the blue line, and not because he needed protection.

2 things.
1. I clearly stated non rookies and Makar was a rookie
2. Afaik he wasnt really sheltered that much by the end of the season sinve he actually plays a fairly complete game and was given over 20 minutes a night
