Should the Bruins look to the future, or make some deal for now?

For a couple years now all I have heard about is how much young talent the Bruins have waiting in their system. That being said, who thinks they should trade some of the talent for veteran pieces to win now (Landeskog, Fowler, Shattenkirk, Dumba ETC.), and who thinks they should wait it out and develop their young potential stars (Zboril, McAvoy, Senyshyn ETC.)?

Boston is a team that thinks it's better than they are. They missed the playoffs the last two years when the East was weak, and now it's dominate over the West.

At best the finish second in the Atlantic and face Toronto/Ottawa. After that it's Montreal and then your pick of the strongest of Columbus, Washington, and Pittsburgh.

So far the Bruins are 3-3-2 against eastern playoff bound teams (plus 1-0-1 against Philly and 1-0-2 against Carolina).

You rent veterans when you can contend, not to squeak in for a first round sweep.

They've got to start the rebuild. In order to win a Cup, they'd have to beat Montreal, one of Washington/Pittsburgh, and whoever the third team in the Atlantic is, and then a team like Chicago or San Jose. There's no way they can do that, even if they make some big moves. They shouldn't attempt a "rebuild on the fly" because all that leads to is them being behind Toronto and Buffalo at least, depending on when other teams decide that it's time to tear it down.

this needs to be a tear down, try and do what the leafs are in the process of, trade vets for picks and keep developing young talent
