Pens literally don't have the assets. Unless you gave up Malkin, Jake, Marino, and your next 4 firsts. Or something ridiculous like that.

The only universe where this could be fair value is if Jeff Carter and Evgeni Malkin were both 10 years younger than they are right now. Still, it would just turn the Oilers from a team with 3 great centers and one good wingers to a team to a team with 4 great centers and still only one good winger.
Even with those changes, I think I’d still need another first round pick to even contemplate the idea of accepting it
