Depends on how badly they need to move Johnson, Serg isn't the only young and good piece in the deal. Like the description says we could look at Seabrook for Johnson 1 for 1 plus pick to Chicago...

They'd give up futures to get rid of Johnson, not young dmen entering their prime.

You think we’re gonna trade future Norris candidate for that?? Add Dach as a starter and then go from there if you want Sergy

They don't have much futures, and I'm not sure many teams are interested in a 5AAV cap for three years in exchange for Tampa draft picks.

A few things here:
1. The blackhawks do not need to trade Brent Seabrooks contract. He's on LTIR until its done and it costs nothing. When fans get back in the arena, it always sells out. They are one of the most profitable organizations in the NHL and can afford to pay it. I'm entirely sure why they felt they needed to trade Hossas contract, but that was in a 3 year period of Bowman moves most of us like to forget. This is new Bowman and hes actually very smart and good at his job.
2. I would love to acquire sergachev, but I feel the value is not enough going back for the Lighting to move on. I know they REALLY need to get out of contracts because Kucherovs cap hit will actually count next season, but I think that they would move McDonagh before Sergachev because hes the kind of player who extends your window due to his age.

I don't think it will be easy to move McDonagh, big cap hits will be hard to move this offseason, especially for Tampa who will need to move 1 or 2 big contracts with term with not a lot of futures to give up.

Hey Stan good job at trading for bigger and faster players. But then I’m confused because that whole Duncan Keith being scratched thing.

The guy is close to being spent. At this point I want the young guys playing over him assuming they are better.

Unless stanbo has gun to Brisbois head this is never even contemplated . Sergachev is a top 2 or 3 defender solid defensively and 45 to 60 point dman and he is 23 yrs old with 4 years of playing experience he would be hands down the best defenceman on the hawks at this time if this trade went through . Brisbois might be the best gm in the league at worst he is top 3 or 4 . He is not MIKE MILBURY OR PETER CHIARELLI he will not make such a stupid trade . Tamps is loaded at every position they have any number of players that they can package to dump JOHNSON
