Can’t see hall taking a three year deal. Maybe I’ll be surprised.

McCabe is not a top pairing d man. Not even close. Giving ritchie 3 mill to play on the fourth line is pretty gross.

Valid. But has anyone managed to predict anything about Taylor Halls career to date?

I'm not one to suggest imbalances are a problem usually but when your 4th line LW is better than your first pair LD lol I mean it's probably worth balancing

    The year is 2027

Taylor Hall signs a 1 year 18M$ deal with the NHL's newest expansion team the Kowloon Bay Dragons to play beside both the players named Jack Hughes

He ends the season with -3 points

In this scenario they should just play 10 forwards so the TOI is balanced with Trent and Laz scratched with Ritchie rotating through other lines maybe

Tooooooo much for Ritchie for sure. He’ll be more of a 1.6-2M contract. The problem is he’s not a 4th liner so need to figure out a trade that gets some value for him.

I like your Hall signing but only if he returns to MVP form with the Bruins. Maybe max 4yrs and I do think he takes that deal. Hopefully the Bruins can convince him that taking less money means a better team with more cup chances. If he wants $8-10M, He saw what that results on. If he turns back to MVP Hall... then maybe he gets someone to pay but cap will still be flat so tough call.

I like that you include Senyshyn. Bonus points for that.

For Carlo, I’m pretty sure his qualifying offer is higher than that. It’s north of $5M and I expect it’s an 8yr term when it happens.

It doesn’t mess with your idea too much though because there is no way the Bruins tender an offer to Kase so that money can be partially spent on Carlo.
