I just needed to show that Oilers get rid of those players in the offseason to make the cap work. They are not going to OTT

Yes he is. But Holloway (I really like this guy) is a legitimate future top 6 c and we need to do something with the expansion draft. And Suter deserves a cup. And we ve got Menell and Addison coming.

Perhaps, but they lack a Swiss army knife in the blue line, who Suter is. He is a 35-40 point and +5-10 guy even at his age. They might seriously contend with that addition without making a blockbuster with one of their 1C. After I see GMs trading a 1st for SAVARD, I don't think this is that unrealistic.

Suter isn't winning cup with Edmonton. He isn't ever waiving. Dude come on now. It's simply not realistic

Joel Eriksson Ek is getting protected no matter what

Who cares about greenway, & the fact he's gone back to sucking & disappearing

Parise or especially suter aren't waiving to go to another team

I disagree here. I am watching him playing right now and I really like not only how Greenway plays, but the whole line of Foligno-EE-Greenway is superb and I wanna keep it. And I want another top C prospect too. How would you add the one if you are bound to draft in the late 10's? Minnesota will not fall down like Californian teams due to its great blue line. So, we gonna wait a long time to draft in a top 5. No chance that a "bad" team would give us their 1st in exchange for something. So, you gotta trade players.

I do understand your scepticism, but sometimes I really don't. I was expecting Oilers Fans to be unhappy here...

It's not much scepticism. Greenway unit he can show no every game could be gone. He disappeared, & was a non factor in either st Louis game

As for Ryan suter: it's well known that he would never waive due to living on a farm with his family in Wisconsin
