The Central Registry "rejection" does not make sense here. The system look to be broken currently.

Anyways, how much is Van willing to pay to rid themselves of the Eriksson contract moving forward?

I think that second is exaclty what they would be willing to give up with 1 year left on his ccontract plus he has a selling point, 6mill cap hit but only have to play him 2.55mill

and Chicago only has an abundance of Cap space this season because Toews/Nylander and Shaw are not playing and is on LTIR. Shaw might be back their next season if his concussion issues don't get any better.

I think Chicago saves Seabrook's LTIR space for in-season acquisitions next season.
