No chance Winnipeg gives up that much for two years of Dumba. The Jets don't need an offensive RHD, they need a big, defensive RHD.

I too think this is a optimistic return for Dumba at this point, given other GMs seem to know the pressure Guerin is under to move Dumba. Dumba can play physical, though I doubt he is what you are looking for in that aspect. He has been a good defender this year and from what I've seen, his defense has gotten better every year. I think he would be a great add for the Jets, just don't see Jets having to give up this much.
Would you think maybe a 1st an "A" level prospect (not your top prospect) and perhaps a small cap dump/ NHL replacement level player?

Why sign Gustafson? Also Boldy will be in NHL before you see Beckman. Lastly Parise is a 4th liner/ healthy scratch at this point.

It's possible, it really depends on how much the Jets scouts like Dumba. What we as fans think the Jets need, doesn't necessarily match what the scouts and GM think. I don't see the Jets giving up a first and an A prospect, unless they are fairly certain Dumba will re-sign and he is the guy they want. It would also have to be done after the expansion draft I think.
