well - I have questions

1) Why would the Sabres take DeAngelo, even with the Rangers holding 50%, when they could wait until he's bought out and sign him for a 1yr/$1million "prove you have matured" contract. I don't think the Sabres would want to add DeAngelo anyhow because there is a pretty good pipeline of D-men the Sabres have (and will add another with Power @ 1 or 2 in the draft).

2) I know Buch is an RFA with Arb rights, do the Rangers think he'd get something in the lines of 6-7 Million per year? As an outsider, him with Mika and Krieder look phenomenal every time I watch the Rangers. I would think the point of adding Eichel is to have him with Mika and Buch and move Krieder to play with Panarin; UNLESS they don't think they can make the numbers work on a new deal for him.

3) I can see the Sabres needing Hajak on the return, unless some of the Sabre Prospects are not ready and/or they move Risto or Colin Miller first. Then they might have a need for someone that has NHL experience.

As a Sabre fan, I think the Rangers or the Kings makes the most sense IF the Sabres were to look to move Eichel. The more I think about this with the Rangers, I would have to think Georgiev would need to be included in this deal. Even if the Sabres do resign Ullmark, he's getting to Antti Raanta level of injury prone sadly.

Chytil and the picks are good starting points on a deal IMO

The rangers would have to give up something that hurts. Nothing here hurts.
