Description
Apparently, the Islanders offered the package they gave up to the Devils for Taylor Hall, which was what Kevyn Adams was looking (a first round pick). Kevyn Adams said "no I can get more" and Lou basically went "ha ha" than traded for Palmieri. Boston afterwards called for Taylor Hall and they said "I heard the market has dried up" to Kevyn Adams

Not entirely true. Colorado offered more for Hall than Boston did. But Hall exercised his NMC because he wanted Boston. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think I will take what was said by someone who works close to insiders than someone on CF

Hey I'm a canes fan and Kevyn Adams is a legend from when he played here, but that is downright awful. Lou was probably overpaying for Hall and Adams still declined🤣. At least he's not like Botterill (yet). Adams was a great player, but so far looking to be a not-so-great General Manager.

I appreciate your story.

I'm not talking about where Hall wanted to go. I'm talking about what happened with Kevyn Adams

I have no doubt about the NY aspect. But my statement was true as well. Colorado made a better offer than Boston did. Hall blocked it to go to Boston. It was on Twitter yesterday as an unnamed western team. Since then Col and Bos writers have both written about it.

Well actually the return we got from Boston is better than what the Devils got for Palms and Zajac. 2 busts and a low 1st is worse imo than a middle 6 forward and a 2nd. At least Bjork is an NHL calibre player and I do like the way he plays. Not an ideal return no, but when Mr. Ego has the power to choose where he will exit in the 1st round, then who are we to stop him

Heard a western team offered at least a first but Hall blocked it.

It doesn't matter what happened to Kevyn Adams with other offers. Hall had a NMC. Isles could have offered KA 5 first rounders and Hall could have vetoed it because, as he publicly stated, he was most interested in becoming a Bruin.

Who gave Hall that "No Movement Clause" to begin with? Everything leads back to Kevyn Adams. Taylor Hall did what he had in power of and used that NMC which was given to him
