This would not work out because

1) Fleury has a Modifed NTC clause in his contract and I doubt he'd want to be in Buffalo at this point in his career.

2) Vegas has so much top heavy contracts (Stone, Pietrangelo, Patches, Wild Bill, Theodore, Reilly Smith, Lehner, Fleury and Marchessault are all over $5 Mil per) - I agree they would need to move at least 1, if not 2 contracts out to make it work.

3) Krebs and Hague are the kind of contracts they need at this point, especially with playing the daily cap dance, they can be "reassigned" to the minors regularly.

I think if I deal were to be make here - Tuch AND Theodore would need to be included (neither have a NTC/NMC) as a start - and I can't see Vegas letting Theodore go.

Just my thoughts

I have to ask... why are the Blues involved here?

Eh, I got the error saying that Buffalo needed 23 players on the roster. Just traded for Barby to get that but it still didn't work. Haven't played with this mode much.

any "requirements not met" issue wont stop you from posting the trade. You can just ignore it. If small details need to be fixed, people can figure that out for themselves later.

I agree with the other comment saying different pieces and cap offsets etc but as for price, this deal is pretty good.

I doubt Fleury would too, but who knows. He went to an unknown Vegas team so maybe he feels like he could bring Buffalo up? In any trade for Eichel it will likely have to be a 3 team deal to move other pieces.
In terms of Krebs and Hague, if Vegas were to want Eichel, they'd have to give those guys up. They still have Glass as well and Smith only has two years.

I think a trade would work, they just need a 3rd team involved.

I'm assuming a 3rd team would need to be involved. Tuch and Krebs plus a pick would be great for Buffalo to get back. Vegas wanted to deal Fleury last off-season. He'd go a different team. Maybe Carolina? Getting a 3rd team involved also means giving up slightly fewer assets from a Vegas standpoint.
