I wouldn't sign Dzingel.

To be honest other than the core, I don't think it's in this teams best interest to sign anything longer than a 2 year deal with the surrounding cast.

Well, gosh, sure, I suppose you could go there. I mean all those other Koskinen-plus-something-minor to the Jackets for one of our goalies went over so well as is, right? Why not throw in another giant cap dump with extended term so that we can lose one or two of Jones/Werenski/Laine/our remaining goaltender/Roslovic, amirite?

Obviously that was a bit of a fleece, shouldn't cost that much to dump a player and if it does you shouldn't make that trade. Holland said he wouldn't pay that much to dump a contract. Plus I've seen CLB fans on here say Korpi could be had for a second...

Buffalo had a chance to re-sign Kahun as an RFA and let him walk. Why would they trade a more promising player and a 6th to get him back?
