I see him signing a 3-4 year bridge deal but it won't be much more 4.5. I don't think he's earned the salary you suggest. Right now he's a 25g 50pt winger, and while he does have all the intangibles you love you don't pay 50 point wingers 7mil.

It gets the Jets out of LTIR, so they can do the daily accrual of cap space again, that said, I would rather send Niku than Vesalainen.
