    Sorry man, no other way to say it, this is an awful trade proposal. LA spent 3 seasons trying to get rid of veterans and get younger, this trade in no way makes them better unless that first rounder is a lottery pick.

    The rights to Palmeri who is a UFA at the end of this season, Varmalov as their third goalie with the Kings already having Quick and Petersen, and Mayfield who fits nowhere with Doughty, Roy, and Walker on the right. Kings decline this trade for their second best prospect.

    I honestly think that this wouldn't work for the isles, kings or Vegas. you would give our starter away to a team that's trying to go younger, and they already have goalies. not smart
