Feel like it's a pretty fair value considering the year he is having and it's clear he doesn't want to be in Columbus

What would you realistically want from NJ to get Laine? Hischier, Hughes, Holtz, and Smith won't be traded

Nico and Jack will not be traded for a long time, if ever. Laine is not more valuable than either of them at this point

I don’t disagree with that, that’s also why Columbus and New Jersey probably won’t ever come to a deal revolving around Laine, NJD wouldn’t and shozuodnt move what Columbus would want for him. Your best option is an offersheet, but that means unprotected 1sts.

Spot on. I wouldn't move any of those guys in a package for Laine.

Finally, a Laine move I could stomach.
Both trade and contract are appear good.
Wouldn't go any further on either.

(also, doubt Hoffman gets a raise from this year).
