Today's one of those days where the sheer thought of playing hockey at a very competitive level all while working towards a degree at an American college just seems so goddamn cool. Like the whole idea of it.

I'm finally graduating and my big ass can't even skate. Good on this young man to take that next step in following his dreams.

He's going to play NHL games. He might not ever break through to be a full time NHL guy, but I've got no doubt he will have a long career as a high end AHL player/ injury callup. He works his ass off every night, and was a huge part of the core of that back to back Penrose Cup Champ UND squad. They were cut short in the NCAA Championship Tournament, but he was an absolute monster for the Fighting Hawks in the playoffs, with something ridiculous like 10 points in 5 playoff games, including a Remarkable 5 point night against Miami Ohio I believe. He left it all out on the ice this year.

For a 6th round pick, it's hard not to get excited if you're an Isles fan.
