Vancouver doesn't need more point producing D-men and they already have Hughes and Schmit! They also already have a good offensive core with Pettersson, Boeser, Miller, Hoglander, Horvat, Pearson AND very very soon Podkolzin!

Then you have our grinders that are most likely here to stay like Motte, MacEwen, Vesey, Boyd and Hawryluck!

Hawryluck has shown good 3rd line future potential and same with Vesey and Boyd!

The main thing is we need shutdown guys that are big enforcing D-men and with good grit and hustle to their game.

You need guys like Tryamkin, Savard, Bogosian, Chara, Bowey Madison and others. (Bowey Madison is infact a shutdown and he is 6'3).
