I wouldn't do this if I were CBJ. We're set on high-end D with Werenski and Jones, and Voronkov is looking really good in the KHL.

You can never have too many high end d. Behind Jones, Werenski, Gavy and Peeke we have nothing defensive wise and there's a very real possibility one of Z or Jones aren't here in 3 years. As a prospect guy, I'm positive Voronkov is an nhler but I don't think he maxes out as anything special. Zac Jones is GOOOOOD.

Yeah, much like many things surrounding this time, I'm trying not to highlight what has been an otherwise ****ty year top-to-bottom on this team. Any other season, I disagree with that characterization re: Werenski and Jones.



Hey, maybe, but I feel like if I'm trading for a guy like Z Jones, I'm going to move Werenski, Jones, Gavvy, etc. also.

And not saying Divo (yes, starting this now) is the next Kuznetsov, but he’s clearly performing above his pay-grade in the KHL. Looks the part of a very-promising, high-floor middle-six center.
