Holy overpay on Montour

I hope they just don't add seider, maybe veleno and then just resign the same team. That being said I think they cheap out again and just plug holes. I cant see them spending cap just to lose but id love if they try to add 1 player in the top 6. They desperately need a 2nd center. Bernier has been great but I hope they chase dreidger or ulmark and get a bit younger in net.

Yzerman likes him. He wins face-offs and is defensively responsible which will allow Raymond to be more offensively driven. But reality is that Rasmussen with Ryan and Raymond (it's the Pirate Line...RRRRRRR!!) is more likely for offense.

I think they'll have to overpay a bit. He's #4 in UFA Defenseman goals this season despite playing for a very bad Buffalo team. He can play both sides of the blue line. It will take a DeKeyser+ deal to get him. They have the cap space to do it. 4 years is a little long, but would prefer 3 years. I don't think Montour goes for that though.
