Everything is ordered, Kucherov would be1st if he wasn't injured. Adam Pelech as the 3rd best LD will definitely make people mad but he's the best shutdown defensemen in the NHL without a doubt. All scratches are players who are on special teams.

Draisaitl has been better than matthews since he came into the league, has more trophies than him, more points, more highlights, and is better in every way besides defence which is average.

So not only is your argument about points stupid, it is also wrong. while Matthews is marginally better than him when it comes to point production, Matthews is WAY better when it comes to goals. Matthews and Draisaitl currently sit at 190 goals each BUT Draisaitl has played 142 more games !! so if you wanna talk about "not even close" Matthews is a bettter goal scorer,...and its not even close. Matthews is better defensively by a good margin as well.

as for awards, sure, take what you can get with your argument.

Take away marner Matthews scores 30 a season, Matthews is a better scorer Ill give you that, Draisaitl has more multi point games, and Draisaitl has improved defensively but remember Matthew literally lost the game for the leafs when he let Nurse walk in and snipe yeah hes good defensively lol.
