These offers are underwhelming, but I can't say I really want Laine in NJ. Awesome talent but runs way too hot and cold for my liking.

Well then why trade for him lol. He’s probably one of the most polarizing hockey players in the league. (If not number one). Some see him as a future hall of farmer who puts up 500-600 goals in his career. some see him as a one dimensional self serving lazy goal scorer who has a good shot. I’d your more the latter then don’t trade for him. That’s why many didn’t when he was available from Winnipeg.
