Description
Who wins the 7th player award. For those who don’t know, the Bruins hold a fan vote each year for the most underrated or surprisingly good player on the team that year. I made a poll with some of the more obvious choices, but comment if you have a different player.

Coyle has been sub-par this year, same with Halak. McAvoy should be an option but give it to my boy Ritchboiii

my guess would be miller with his crazy recovery and determination to keep playing. guy is playing with 2 artificial knees. And he looks good out there too.

Hasn't Coyle been more of a disappointment than an under-rated guy? He is making $5.25m.

I figured it was expected of McAvoy but he could definitely win it. Coyle is the weakest of the players I listed, but I'd assume that it's a two-horse race between Ritchie and Miller at this point.

I like him as a winger. He looks lost as a center but he's a solid two way guy, not so much as a point producer.

You just described a 3rd line wing. He's getting way overpaid to be that.

The only option you gave that i think would even be considered is ritchie.

Mcavoy took a step from super underrated number one to a Norris contender.

How about the rookie that played on the first pair most of the year?

At his best, and what they paid him to be, is a 2nd Line with talent, key phrase WITH TALENT. he hasn't had consistent wingers all year. His best stretch this season came when he was playing alongside the like of Ritchie and Smith or Frederic (before he fell off the face of the earth when everyone started talking about how good he was a month ago) and Smith again. With Hall securing 2LW, and a healthy team he could get consistent wing play. Him and Debrusk has some good sequences the other night so something to watch.

That's been Coyle his entire career. I wouldn't give him the 7th man award for it. He'd be very low on the list compared to the other (non-star) players.

Right now it's Miller for me. Ritchie has gone quiet as the season has gone on:

First 20gp - 7g/7a
Last 20gp - 3g/3a

Muller has looked good for a guy whose missed as much time as he has and when the defense was depleted they leaned on him for minutes.

I mean its not easy to pick someone out this year. I guess Ritchie is the guy that sort of fits the award. Production higher than what anyone expected. Smith maybe but i dont thinknwhat smith is doimg is a surprise this is the player he is and has been. Seriously charlie coyle , dude has been a non factor. While everyone's popping off on debrusk that dude has been invisible.

Ritchie was my choice a few weeks ago. Smith has really kicked the tires as of late though
