Seattle will have a couple better players to choose from, they'll take Oshie, Vanecek, or Jensen over him.

I hope Ovi signs for that little but doesn't sound like it will be less than $10M.

I don't think Sammy is getting 2 million on his bridge deal. He certainly hasn't earned that. I think it less, maybe 1.5 for 2 years and every penny counts for the Caps roster management.

What’s the WSH outlook in goal? Samsonov was obv the better prospect, but it looks like VV is outperforming him. I feel like Seattle would lose one of them...

be realistic. there is no chance ovi signs for that little or that Seattle takes Kempny unless we gave them a 1st round pick and maybe more.

I think the future is Samsonov but this year has been up and down because of his Covid sickness and had been injured in the fall before the season started. He was starting to get more starts but a few games back against Philly he got hurt. I do think VV is a backup playing pretty hot right now but not sure if the Caps know who will be the playoff starter. Unless Sammy gets established with a bunch of good starts soon, they might have to go with the experience of Anderson for the playoffs.
