If Sens wanted Gostisbehere, he'd be a Sen already. He passed waivers, he's not suddenly worth a 3rd

Hard pass from Detroit. Makes no sense for our rebuild.

I like Patrick to the Leafs, but I dont think they move Nylander. Maybe Liljegren 1 for 1?

With Nylander being a catalyst player scoring near a point per game in his prime it's just way too much uncertainty there to be a return worth taking

Selling low on Patrick & Myers too

    Maybe Sanheim instead

I'm not sure Yzerman would take this deal when it was for a 2nd round pick. He is definitely not giving up Bertuzzi for this!

    Eh it's not too bad

Tbert will be aging once they're contending, with Frost and 2nd just hitting stride, with the Voracek money coming off the books at that point so idk like

    Not ideal but not crazy

again what do people not get why take money now with term off waivers when you can move stuff out to make up for it in the summer dude is good pp specialist and bottom pair role with a stay at home D just cause he wasnt claimed during the season means nothing hate to break it to you leads dmen in goals 5v5 since march 1 so 🤷‍♂️ and just top 5 in general with games missed and diminshed minutes still producing, in that embarrassment in ottawa he could do just fine

Voracek's production has dropped in each of the last 4 seasons and with a cap hit of $8.25M for the next 3 seasons it just isn't worth it

Ok when that happens you can say I'm wrong but there is still no way Yzerman makes this trade.

I'm aware of that but when you said "he would lead detroit in points or be top 3 every single season he was there..." in defense of your trade proposal you moved from an idea to a statement you believe to be true. Out of curiosity did you use a crystal ball to predict that? Because when I ask my Magic 8 Ball says Outlook not so good.

If he was really that valuable, you claim him without hesitation, and make the money work from there. They could easily have moved a guy like Tierney mid season to make the cash work.

The fact is he's just not a valuable asset, no matter how much you want to will it to be true.

As far as him succeeding in Ottawa, he could work out, but as it sits, he's just not they type of D they need to be adding. They don't need an offensive specialist LD who can't defend well. The two spots behind Chabot are currently filled by Brannstrom and Mete, and from a Sens perspective there's way more upside with those two than there is with Ghost.

I am using facts he’s a reliable scorer and on your pathetic rebuild of a team where guys barely crack fifty points (player wise and in the standings) I’d say yes. Also how horrible was that magic 8 ball analogy I had to crack a window after reading that
