Description

Forwards cutoff after Barzal - remaining players (listed under RW) who I believe are on the outside looking in.

Defensemen that are locks to make the team are the first 3 RD & Shea Theodore. Considering the All-world play of the NYI pair, they are penciled in as 4th pair and are deserving of a serious look to play for team Canada (my dark horse for the 2022 team). One of Devon Toews or Samuel Girard will surely make the team to play alongside Cale Makar, which one is anyone's guess but I favored Girard. The Final Slot (3rd LD) is a complete toss up and could swing any way - I defaulted to JFresh Hockey's WAR percentile player cards to arrive at Chychrun (but I think he's kind of a long shot). Most likely the 3rd LD spot goes to one of either Morgan Rielly, Darnell Nurse, or Thomas Chabot.

Goalies were pretty easy - as it stands Flower is the starter with Price and Binnington as the backups (in no particular order) followed distantly by Carter Hart.
