No way arizona accepts that.

That Ottawa deal is one of the worst trades that has ever been posted on this site. White is negative value, and you’re moving the bruins best prospect for him? What?

The entire reason Zona was considering trading Garland was to cut payroll. How does that help them do that? They decline.

You want them interested? 1st/Debrusk/Zboril/Moore for OEL/Garland. But i don’t really want OEL contract.

I’d rather re-sign Reilly than pay that for Martinez.

His contract is real bad. Especially with the flat cap. He’s been healthied in Ottawa. I get he’s playing better now, but even you have to admit this trade is awful for boston.

Fun fact. Since Garland came into the league he and Debrusk have the same exact stats. And it’s taken Debrusks worst year and Garlands best to get it to even.

Zona declines for different reasons. But if a 1st is added Debrusk is removed, 1st/Zboril would be much more attractive to Zona as the entire reason they are considering moving Garland is to reduce payroll as he is arb eligible this year.

I agree it’s awful for Boston, I like Studnicka and Boston should keep him.

White isn’t a bad player, but he’s a 2.5 million player at best, not a 4.5 million player.

Negative value might be a little much, but his value certainly isn't great. Think of Victor Rask just prior to being traded.

Protect McAvoy, Carlo and one of Lauzon/Gryz for expansion draft. Assuming Seattle takes one of Lauzon/Gryz then trade Zboril and Vaak plus 2021 3rd for OEL with Arizona retaining 2.25M. Not crazy about his contract like you said but more palatable at 6M. If that doesn't work for Arizona no harm no foul. Agree with resigning Reilly if you can get value at 2M or under. Want to keep our 1st and DeBrusk.
