Sharangovich appears to be a big part of our future
Cannot imagine he gets moved unless it is for top-4 d-man

I've heard multiple times that you'd be looking to move some of your young role player to acquire a big winger (terms of skills) to play with Hughes/Hischier. You're also looking for a RHD dman. Fleury is the best option in our pipes. MTL needs some young depth on the left side, Sharangovich and Maltsev fits the void that we're currently facing off. I choose Sharangovich over Kuokkanen because i feel he's more expendable since you already have a core of Hischier-Hughes-Zacha down the middle

Yeah he's not really available. The point of this trade is to make MTL younger on the left side and to save some cap on Drouin. Drouin is still a good player, don't get me wrong, I just feel he's not in MTL's plan anymore

Kuokkanen and Sharangovich could both play wing too. I don't think they are going anywhere. If the Habs wat a young depth, try Maltsev, Boqvist, or Merkley

In that case it doesn't really makes any sense to move Drouin. Drouin is a top 6 winger, love him or hate him you have to give him the benefit of being really skilled. Sharangovich could fill his departure at a lower price. I understand that he's like the foundation of NJ's rebuild but at the same time you already have a handful of similar player. You don't have guys like Drouin though

We don't have many guys like Sharangovich either.
He is a smart, measured young player.
Has lethal wrist shot.
Can play wing or center, PK or PP.
Just needs work on face-offs.

Kuokkanen also stays...he and Hughes play well together.

Your best buy-low young guy from Devils is Boqvist.

It could be an option but in that case MTL needs to remove some value... How do you feel about Fleury? Does he fits your needs? I definitely thinks he could be a major piece in that deal.

Little interest in Fleury. Hasn't looked great.
More interest in Romanov, Brook, Norlinder, and the two Huskies.

I don’t believe that a lot of these players are as untouchable as most will say but I also don’t see a fit with drouin. The team has spent years trying a hybrid rebuild and are now finally doing a full tear down and build the right way so the only reason for them to move players is a young top-6 shoot first player or a future high end top-4 defenseman

I hate to say it but Drouin does not fit the bill for what NJ needs in a winger. Devils desperately need goals and Sharangovich has outscored Drouin by 7 this year playing on a significantly worse team. Can't see them trading away youth and goalscoring for an older playmaker in the same position. Devils have their top 6 playmakers in Hischier, Hughes, Bratt they need goal scorers.
