    So youre never going to trade eichel because you might lose the trade? So Eichel will just become a ufa at age 29/30 with his best years behind him and nothing to show for it because the sabres were afraid theyd lose another trade? Actually that sounds about right for Buffalo.

    It's not a might. You will. Eichel has no leverage. There is no reason to trade him. Period. He doesn't want to lose? Okay better. He doesn't want to play in buffalo? Tell him to go home.

    I legitimately think he’d hold out before that happens. I think the second his NMC kicks in if he hasn’t been moved he’s not going to report.
