Devils should probably keep their picks for the next few years, but that's just my personal opinion. As far as trade value, Sabres probably accept? If you're the Devils, don't you think Hischier and Hughes satisfy your 1 + 2 C needs for the future? Unless you want one of them on the wing, but why bother? Probably better off looking for goal scorers to develop. But again, that's just my personal opinion.

Okay so then it’s not four firsts. There’s nothing worse than saying, “ohhhh so and so was a former first rounder, so he’s like a first.” No. That’s not how it works. For example, pavel Zacha...absolutely NOT worth a first round pick.

I haven’t seen anyone credible saying four firsts is the price. Four firsts really doesn’t make much sense.

the center depth is certainly attractive. that said, 2021 will be a top 5 pick and 2022 will be a top 10 or at least top 15 pick. i would save those and use them on defense. we are quite weak in terms of star defenders. we need 3 and we have 1 in ty. mukh & bahl look to be solid 2nd or 3rd pairing. i could see

My guess is them, and most teams are treating the late first round picks in this draft, less like first round picks due to bad draft class + uncertainty with scouting

Ngl I’m not big on Muk and don’t see why fitzy selected him first round. I’m higher on everyone on the left side over edwards. Maybe he can push siegs out of there. Idk though. I’m really really high on vukojevic and I don’t think edwards will push out smith. Also bahl maybe be the perfect 3rd pairing guy with size, defense, and good on the PK.
