I'm glad my trade inspired you jk

But real talk, I think the Laine trade is fair. My only thing is that Edler and haula may not come here for that low amount. Edler would probably want more. I do agree we need a 3C and to fix our defence.

I would contemplate paying Seattle to take Myers to free up 6 mil to target 2 defensive free agents then get a center.

I believe Laine only has one more full season till he eligible to be a UFA. OK you signed him for two, but worth giving up a likely a top 5 pick this season?
