Dude, Copp has been better than your whole roster this season... Do you really think that WPG will let him go? And the price/contract given is so cringe that I want to to eat my eyes...

I'm surprised you are not trying to buy any of Pettersson's or Hughes' UFA years. Since you are trying a bridge deal, I doubt players like the idea of a 3yr bridge so 2yr would be more realistic

To get him out of the KHL he probably wants some money, highly doubt he comes back for a league minimum.

I agree Copp is having a career year and playing best hockey, probably will cost a bit more.

Pettersson is going to get the Barzal bridge deal. VAN wants to get Hughes on a bridge deal regardless. Since Petey and Hughes share the same agent they probably sign for similar deals, maybe Hughes gets a little less money compared to Petey.

I don't think VAN moves a guaranteed top 10 pick for Copp, but things can change.

What's to stop SEA from just picking Lind. No incentive for them to select Holtby by offering Lind. Better goalies available for them to select.
Better idea for VAN to buy out

I suspect a 2yr bridge deal would be a more likely outcome as they are negotiating with Benning and not Lamoriello.

Surprisingly Benning has been great with getting our RFA signed to good deals, its just July 1st when he goes insane lol .
