Walman and Perunovich will fight for a regular spot, Kyrou and Thomas will get more than that, and you are paying a lot for a rental in Nurse.

St louis gonna protect Krug for sure, it's like Faulk we got to give him a little more time to adjust and he's gonna be our best puck moving dman. If Parayko can come back 100%, we're pretty stacked. I love Oleksiak though.

Kostin will get a shot to crack the line up too. It's good to resign Bozak, I think 2.5 would be perfect.

Absolutely. I'm just really disappointed in the direction Armstrong has gone with the defense. I look at smaller players, i.e. Faulk, Dunn, and Krug, and struggle to believe that these guys can play solid, shut-down defense and survive the constant pounding of an 8+ week Stanley Cup campaign. These guys looked great on paper with their outstanding analytics, but to my eye they all struggle in our own end.

Also, if the Blues intend to contend (lazy choice of verbage, forgive me) with this core of O'Reilly, Schenn, Perron, and Tarasenko, they need mature players now. They sorely miss Bouwmeester and Petro, but people forget about Maroon. I think we should move some of our younger assets, and probably mortgage the future, for a few hungry veterans and/or a young stud that is ready to play impactful minutes. Otherwise, the window for this group may close.

I know, a wish list and random thoughts. Thanks for the response!

You're right, for me Zach Hyman would be a target in the summer. Yeah Maroon is missed, but Steen even more IMO. Sundqvist and Thonas need to stay healthy too, cause it's time to take the next step.

Agree on all points and I had forgotten Steen. I'm guessing that you see Hyman as a better fit than Foligno? I see Foligno as that guy that can fill a role similar to Steen. Would you slot Hyman with ROR and Perron?

Nurse is going to be resigned for like 7.5 million I don’t think you can afford him.

Faulk and Dunn are not small.
