Drop one of the 1st round picks and that's a reasonable Eichel return.

Exactly.

You have to think that with Eichel on the team, that 2022 first-rounder isn't going to be all that great anyways...

Quick rebuild doesn’t make a lot of sense
If we are trading Eichel, then burn it down
Trade everyone who’s 24 & over
Star over with a new core of Dahlin & Cozens & the other young pieces we have & would acquire from trades

I think it is not necessary, now the team is playing well without Eichel, but this of course does not mean that we should trade Jack, but if such a situation happens, then we can continue to play with this roster, plus what we get for Eichel.

Disagree
Just bc we look decent now, doesn’t mean that translates to next year
If everything works out, MAYBE we contend for the playoffs

Keeping Sam & Risto & others like that aren’t getting us to where we wanna be- move anyone over 23 who has value

Why not, kids look good and thrive with Granato. I do not mind trading Risto, but Sam could well have stayed in the team.

Let the “kids” grow with a new “core”
I like Sam, but if we trade Eichel we are AT LEAST 3years away from competing for the Cup- so ship him out for younger pieces that fit the timeline better

I partly agree, but we, too, cannot play only as kids, some experienced players must be in the team.

Dahlin only getting a few more M than Will flipping Borgen is just ludicrous and yes I'm using that word because I saw him in a movie tonight LUDAAAAAAA

No it was not fast furious etc.

I'm not a huge fan of Bryson but like taking on a guy who is getting healthy scratches at 30 on the Oilers bottom 6 and could barely hit 40 pts beside McDavid

Even if a quick rebuild was desired like

Just keep Bryson and sign any decent FA 😐

I doubt you will be able to extract a 2nd round pick from Winnipeg for Ristolainen. He has had a pretty rough three years.

Coronato is not likely to fall to #54
Will be mid-first rounder. Maybe top-10.

When Kevyn Adams said the equivalent of four first-rounders, even he wasn't considering Turcotte as only one. Substitute Kale Clague for Kaliyev and we have a deal.
