Hi guys, what is so horrible from your perspective.
Departure of Klefbom, Larsson and Yamamoto?
Too many forward spots for rookies?
    Something else?

What is Columbus even getting? Adam Larson’s signing rights. This is an awful trade for korpi. Like not even close. I’d encourage you to reevaluate and try again. His value to cbj fans is close to a second or third plus a prospect.

Why would you get rid of Larson and Yamamoto that doesn’t make sense. Barrie isn’t necessarily needed next year. Bouchard does the same things if you give him a chance. Play Lavoie in the minors for a year instead of this garbage. You do realize korpisalo is worse than Koskinen right? Edmonton needs a goalie with a .920 sv% not same old junk. Paying Seattle to take Koskinen is a waste of a pick.

Wild aren't trading Marcus foligno. Marcus foligno is untouchable. His new contract starts next year. You can dream

Little more rational approach. The Wild aren’t moving Foligno anytime soon. He’s a huge locker room guy and a lot of fans wanted him to replace Koivu for captain when Koivu left.

However on just skill and needs, I would do this trade.

The Wild got incredibly worse when Foligno went down with a broken ankle a few weeks ago. Now that he's back, we're winning again. He's a stud defensively and has provided decent offense this year. Throw on top of that how good he is in the locker room and I don't see any way we're trading him unless the return is obscene.

Oilers should be keeping Klefbom for next year. Giving up a second to get rid of him makes no sense. The Yamamoto trade is terrible. Yamamoto is 22 years old and is already a solid second line winger. Let him develop and he'll be a very good top 6 forward. Trading him for a 29 year old 3rd liner makes this team worse now and in the future. Now to the Larsson trade. First of all, Larsson is a UFA and there is no way Columbus gives up something valuable for a UFA. Remember Kevin Hayes only got a 6th round pick when he got traded to Philly cuz he was a free agent? Second of all, Oilers should be keeping Larsson anyway because he is extremely important to this team and the Oilers can get a better goalie in free agency than Korpisalo. The Jones trade is bad too. Even though Jones has struggled this year he's still only 23 years old and has shown glimpses of having top 4 dman potential in the past. Abramov is solid but I can't see him becoming anything more than a fringe third liner. And you overpaid for Khaira by about 300k. And give Lavoie more time to develop.

Lmao "you can dream" any smart Oilers fan wouldn't do this trade. Yamamoto has way more value than Foligno.
