Additional Details:

-Dillon comes in to replace the plethora of defensemen that are probably leaving in UFA: Goligoski, Hjalmarsson, Demers, Osterle, Lyubushkin. Also a chance they trade OEL as well.

-Vanecek comes in to back the often hurt Kuemper and can take the #1 whenever.

-Pilon is a 22yo that has 16 points in 14 games in the AHL this season. He's NHL ready but Capitals don't have the space. He can start on the 2nd line. Great playmaking and accurate shot in close.

Garland is really good. No shade to Vanecek but I don't think Arizona needs him that badly. They're gonna ask for McMichael or something like Protas + Alexeyev ++.

I guess it depends what they do with OEL. Last summer they tried to trade him but OEL said only BOS and somewhere else he'd go, so OEL holds the power. But if they do move him and don't resign Hjalm or Gologoski they'll have an opening at 2LHD.

They they certainly could. Caps probably don't do McMichael, but maybe Protas or Alexeyev.
