Is he though? Flat cap. Brutal year. Clearly a city he really wants to be in. Factor in Sweeney having a really good history negotiating to re-sign players, i think this is on the low end of reasonable.

Think a first + is needed for that lindholm trade. Goodrow gets at least double that.

Its nice being optimistic on hall but wouldn't shock me if he lights up the playoffs then bolts for the best contract he can get.

I'm pushing for 6.5 at 2 or 3 years for Taylor Hall. That would be a brilliant contract. I have a feeling he's not signing anything longer than 3 years. My gut tells me he'll get a caphit of $7 mil, which I think I'd be fine with. I'd be hesitant to go more than that.

I don't hate the trade, then again what if Mike Reilly continues to play great for this team? Can maybe bring back Reilly for a very good price and not a lot of term. I think we're starting to get an idea of who may be trade bait this offseason (Debrusk and Vaak), but it's still a little too tricky to tell who exactly they'd be trading for

I would LOVE a great 4th line player like a Barclay Goodrow. Problem is, I think there's so much bad blood with Goodrow and Boston that he won't come here. However, I love your idea of bringing in a very good 4th line player. I think after all the inconsistencies this season with the 4th line, bringing in an established 4th liner would be huge

This is pretty solid though overall, I think you have a good sense of what some of these contracts will be like.
