When will the acquisition of reclamation projects finally pay off? Nylander, Gaudette, Perlini, Stillman, Subban, and Connolly. Somebody work for good already. I'm still not sold on Strome.

That's their only saving grace. Trading for Kubalik, signing Panarin and Suter saved them.

I probably wouldn't lump all them together and the context matters for most of these guys. Connelly was the cap dump that brought Borgstrom...only by technicality is Stillman here. Also, were you a big Highmore fan? He was fine, I'm just saying its not like they traded away a 1st rounder for him. Subban was also a secondary piece.

Thanks for bringing up Borgstrom, almost forgot about him as well. I just don't like how Bowman is bringing in question marks. Taking on Connolly to get two players that have yet to prove themselves in the NHL, but when he had to dump 1 year of Bickell, he traded Teravainen. How does one year of Bickell cost Teravainen and 2.5 years of Connolly cost Stillman and Borgstrom? I just don't think he's getting max value on a lot of these trades. I'm fine with the Highmore trade, but how do you not get a Tippett/Denisenko out of FLA, even if that means adding more. Go ahead and give them Zadorov 50% retained and a 2nd or 3rd. Need more knowns and less unknowns at this point.
