Man Leaf fans on here are the worst. Campbell was fine tonight and the PP hit the post twice. On top of that the Matthews hit the post and Marner scored but it wasn't caught. It was too hard to see in the replay to turn over but the puck was totally in the net. A bad luck game.

I think that was just Keefe playing around to see how it looked. It wasn't terrible but I agree both guys with their usual partners is better. I think Robertson needs to come out of the lineup. He has loads of potential but I just don't think he's ready. For the few flashes he offers I notice a lot of mistakes. Trying to go up ice instead of backwards or trying to carry the puck towards the Blueline when on offense only to lose it. Although with Hyman out he could end up playing.

It kinda seemed like after Edler got ejected the refs started “trying to make the game fair”

Marner scored and it wasn’t counted.
We hit a few posts.
Some nights go like that.

Overall, I don’t think the Leafs played a bad game.
I think Robertson still has a lot to learn before he is a regular, maybe next year.
Rielly drives me nuts lately though. Throwing the puck to a stick-less Matthews. We lost possession, and I don’t think we even touched the puck after that.

according to masters he said keefe wanted to split muzzin and holl as that pairing was not doing well there past 3 games. While Muzzin-Brodie looked fantastic, Rielly-Holl were not very good. Like i get splitting them but honestly why not (Rielly-Brodie,Muzzin-Bogo, Dermott-Holl)

good thing foligno comes tuesday as that hyman injury looked bad

Finally a sensible leafs fan! All I've been seeing lately is fans saying we suck or the seasons over lol. Tonight was the absolute best result possible for the canucks. The leafs didn't covert on many grade a chances. By no means was a perfect game, but leafs controlled the play for almost the whole game minus OT.

I love Rielly and people rag on him a lot but something has been up recently whether it's a physical or mental thing I hope he gets it taken care of. He just seems to make at least one bonehead mistake with the puck every game when he's normally very reliable that way. I also like what I see in Robertson but he's still not there to be an NHL regular.

While it definitely looked like a goal there was no conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the ice for Marners goal, just unfortunate.

Definitely not great but hopefully something to build on.

Leafs fans everywhere are the worst lol anytime something goes wrong everything needs to change. So over dramatic, it's either they suck or are the best team in the league, no in between for them lol. I agree with everything except I thought Campbell wasn't very good at all tonight. The first and third goals should be stopped, especially in OT that can't go in.

Plenty of conclusive evidence... it was most certainly a goal. Video and stills if it in the net. Also no net cam footage released us a bit odd. Leafs out played them. Ran into a hot goalie and some crooked officials.

Because Bogosian is the worst defender on the team.

He could have had them but I would hardly call them bad goals. He made a lot of good saves.

The one in OT went right through him, that needs to be stopped. The first one was a good shot but I would imagine he wants that back. He did make some good saves but I don't think he was happy with his outing. He wasn't terrible by any means like some people are saying but wasn't one of his better games.

I think they did that pairing once but the issue is Rielly plays like 23 mins a night so Bogo would go from 14 to 23. Also Bogo often isnt a complete stay at home guy and sometimes will join the rush and leave the blue line exposed.

OT doesn't matter in regulation. It's such a crap shoot

Agreed but still the point is whether it's 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 that shot needs to be stopped can't let a shot with no screen go right through you.

I meant OT in the regular season. It happens. Campbell is a good goalie and I am not worried about him. I want to see the PP get rolling. Going downlow to Nylander was a really good start though. They had chances, Spezza hit the post JT did as well. That game should have been 7-2.

Agreed the PP looked much better than it has for a while but we need to start coverting. I think stacking the first unit is the best option, I like Nylander down low as well, creates well from there, gives them another option they don't have in Simmonds and he finishes well in tight too. I'm not overly concerned with Campbell either, just simply stating he needs to be better than he has been the last few games, he's just come back down to earth, but I would like to see him play better. I understand that 11-0 stretch of play is unsustainable I just would like to see him be better than his last 3-4 starts, he wasn't terrible last night, but he wasn't great.

I'm not hanging this skid on him. I think he was fine in Montreal and fine last night. It should have been out of reach by the mid way through the 2nd period anyways. Get some god Damn powerplay goals and start getting bigger leads and this will all go away.

No it's an overall team thing I agree. But he's apart of the team and therefore shoulders some of the blame. As much as the team needs to bury their chances he needs to make the saves he needs to so can't just ignore his recent struggles. I know you think those weren't bad goals last night but in the NHL you can't get beat short side from that angle like he did on the first goal and pucks can't go through you like it did in OT. I respect your opinion that those weren't bad goals but my opinion is different so there's no point in going back and forth, although it was nice to have a debate with someone who isn't ridiculous and without meaningless insults.
