I wish Weber would retire I just don't see him doing it seeing as earlier this weekend he said he would play more not less

It's 2022-23. His real salary will be 3 million then 1 million yearly with no bonus onwards and he'll be 37 years of age. Those Western conference minutes with travel aged him rapidly. He can probably take a year off and come back if he wanted as well. Nashville serves for the cap penalties as well

Yeah that is another reason I don't see him retiring early. He was happy in Nashville and was well liked. He also seems to have a ton of loyalty and integrity so I think he plays as long as he can so as to not screw over the Preds. He signed the contract so I think he tries to honor it as best he can. He may retire 1 or 2 seasons early but IMO that would be about it.

Sending him back just for the troll. Turning a 2nd rounder, a cap dump into Sergachev and Drouin is hilarious

I'm sure every GM has player or 2 that they will never want on their team. I guess if the return was absurdly insane they might take that player. Make no mistake I'm sure Drouin feels the same way about Yzerman.

The picks were not traded. They were conditionnal on Sergachev number of games. It was one on one Drouin-Sergachev. Know your hockey before insulting players

My bad dude. It's just not the first time I see the 2nd rounder involved in Drouin trade pop out. I hate to see false information
