I think RNH, Coleman, and Barrie (maybe) are all getting paid more than they are here. RNH is going to get 7mil+ I think, and Coleman will get at least 3.5mil. Barrie maybe only 5.5 but some team might pay him 6+

It'll cost a lot more to dump Kassian, and I don't think Washington trades for a young LHD that they can't protect from expansion JUST after having flipped a young LHD that they couldn't protect from expansion.

Hard pass on that Oleksiak contract. The only thing he brings is size. He's a bottom-pair defender and Kulikov can be had for cheaper and less term. Need room for Broberg and Samorukov next year.

Don't resign Barrie. It solves a lot of Edmonton's problems while offering the money for solutions to the rest of the Oilers' woes.

Agreed. Should have added this in description. I could see an opportunity for a 3 team trade where Detroit immediately moves him for another pick, similar to what Yzerman did with Savard.

He's not an asset though, Savard is. Kassian is a pure camp dump, there is no "flip him for another pick". He got insanely inflated for a period by playing with McDavid and now, he is breaking down and is nothing more than an overpaid 4th line plug on WAY too long of a contract.

You may not be aware of this but MTL has the deepest prospect pool in the entire NHL with 8 LD's in their system. So MTL will not trade for another LD of Jones pedigree.
