Well, you aren't getting a first round pick from Edmonton. Not close.

Also, has there been any word on what actually is up with Toews?

Even if he was going vegan, is it league policy that players must eat meat?

As for the team above. I'd rather have Reichel stay in the DEL another year to grow physically. I get that he's playing well. I just don't want to toss him into a fire where he might not get playing time. The best players will get ice time. It's poor player development to rush too many prospects into the NHL. He's young enough that it's ok to spend 1 more year in the DEL...heck, Lots of players take a couple extra years and not just one extra year. Especially if you're going to put him on the 4th line.

Search up Jonathan toews retirement and pick the link that says "#BREAKING Jonathan Toews Goes Vegan Retires From Hockey."

I think it might be okay for him to come over and play in the AHL, but I agree he needs playing time.

In our current situation, you're probably right. There are tons more TRUE NHL prospects in the AHL today. This trend had been started a few years back, but definitely since COVID. The OHL isn't even playing so yeah, I could see what you're saying.

I was actually just thinking the hawks might sign him so they can force JC’s system on him in Rockford in preparation for the NHL soon after.

That's fair too. I was looking at it from the point that there's still a lot of bruisers in the AHL trying to play that old school enforcer role and thus I'd still want someone physically mature in the AHL too. If Seth Jarvis can play in the AHL immediately...I would think Reichel could too.
