The team has already said Amirov is going back to the
KHL if he doesn’t make the Leafs. For the next 2 seasons.

If he gets minimal playing time there he'd be better suited to play in the AHL. Maybe he has the talent level to play top minutes there. But yeah its unlikely he'll be on the Leafs for a couple of years

Trouble with sending a back to Russia, is his Russian team knows he is leaving soon and have little motivation to develop him. Sure KHL is a better league than the AHL, but it's questionable would league is a better fit for a young player who hopes to be an NHLer in 23/24.

This is pretty off

Amirov will still be playing in the KHL next year.
Thankfully Greenway is not signed and won’t be with the Marlies.
Petan will more than likely move on.
Abruzzese is also not signed yet, missed an entire year of playing hockey, my guess is he goes back to Harvard for one more year.
Duszak will most definitely be playing, he will be a big part of this team. Same as Hollowell.
Kokkanen is signed for another two years in the Finnish league.
More than likely it is will look like this:

Steeves Gaudet Anderson
Chartier Kossila McKenna
McMann SDA Brazeau
Clune Conrad Pooley

Kivihalme Hollowell
Rubins Duszak
Kral McCourt
Hoffenmayer

Woll
Scott

Extras
Green
Elyniuk
Gogolov

he'd be better suited actually going where people are going to pay him instead of the 80k he'd make in the AHL.

just looking at the prospect list I'm questioning if they are ever able to get past A on the name list.

Steeves will most likely be playing center as I feel they plan to make him Kerfoots replacement. Kosilla I feel is going back to the swiss league and will be done with NA hockey

Lines are most definitely up in the air. I could see them bringing back Kossila and Gaudet for some leadership. Going to be a very young team next year. It will be interesting to see if Malgin gets resigned also. He could help this group out but he has been killing it in the Swiss league. Maybe he never leaves. With how well the Panthers have utilized Marchment, woulda been nice to still have him.

I think Steeves projects as a RW
