They might even be able to sign Lehkonen for less: it will be interesting to see how the offseason plays out for all teams.

I like the trade to Seattle, but I am not sure they take Chiarot. They may ask for a prospect who has NHL potential (like Harris, Mysak, or Struble).

Habs focus should be on getting rid of Price, 'permanent' LTIR (like Hossa), early retirement, or trade with 50% retention and some bad contract coming back.

Yeah I wouldn't go that far bud. We want to win. he helps to win. he's a good player with attitude problems and HE knows he needs to fix it up if he wants another chance.

Attitude problems?! He may be a good player and could definitely help on the back end but his racism is documented all the way back to his JR days in the OHL where he was suspended for it. If he has not changed yet he never will, he should be ran out of the league for his systemic views! Others have been run out for less!

Really!!!??? I guess that shows just how deep the issues with society are when a teams success is more important than society putting an end to systemic racism! Personally whatever team signs Deangelo is making a huge mistake! They will alienate fans and cause issues in their own locker room not to mention they will become part of the problem and not the solution to the issue!

Thank you for making this easy for me, I do not support your views or beliefs and as such you just earned a spot on my ignore list! Be part of the solution not part of the problem!

I don't hate that, I just think that having DeAngelo and Gostisbehere, who are both similar types of players, could hurt the defense on the long run and create defensive liabilities. But overall I like the trade to Seattle and the fact that we have cap space flexibility to add another asset on the offensive side or bring back Tatar. Putting Poehling on the third might be a bit premature, but I believe that he needs to make next year's roster.

Yeah I saw him too he looked great but the gap between dominating the AHL and being a solid NHL player is pretty large, so we just need to be patient

Yeah but he's improved quite a lot. He looks like a different player. He's footspeed has improved. his offensive game and defensive game. id say play him bottom 6 with danault on the wing and slowly transition him in. if he can become another danault, thats only better for us
